Even though the city car segment is not much different from the LCGC, LCGC cheaper price be the deciding factor.
"Consumers are the many choices, now the model is similar but the price is more affordable, so they many choose LCGC," said Amel.
But Amel said, although sales declined Sirion, the amount is not greater than any other brand in the city car segment.
"So the city car market in 2016 was down 17 percent, but Sirion down only 11 percent. Especially for the city car market, the decline in the Sirion is smaller when compared to others in the city car segment," he said.
In addition Amel is also estimated that in 2017, the market in the city car segment is still in poor condition.
